This depicts the interior of a cathedral to the god of music. I wanted to emphasize the sense of scale and depth, to push the feeling of being overcome by a quiet, yet powerful divine presence. This piece was especially challenging because the whole environment and much of the figures were mostly invented, not painted from direct reference.
